Hi! I'm Spencer Sheppe, a senior studying International and Public Affairs. At Brown I've studied Spanish, French, German and Mandarin, and also speak Catalan. I am super excited to get back to work with the CLS this year, expanding our collaboration with the Center for Career Exploration, Swearer Center, other Brown entities, and organizations in the greater Providence community. Hi! I’m Isabella Collins, a sophomore from Ireland studying IAPA and East Asian Studies. I am half Colombian, so I speak Spanish, and I am currently studying Mandarin Chinese at Brown. This semester, I am taking Chinese 0500, as well as an IAPA class on economic development in Latin America. I love listening to music in different languages, watching foreign TV shows and movies, and learning about international cultures. At Brown, I play trumpet in the Jazz Band, travel with the Model United Nations team, and do club swimming. 

My name is Markus Joerg and I’m a sophomore concentrating in biology and medieval studies! I speak German and I’m learning French at Brown. I’m so excited to help bring together the language learning community at Brown. In my free time I love cooking, watching movies and making art, specifically glassblowing!
